Where will I walk and what will I hear?

The Bondi to Bronte Self Guided Walking Tour starts on Bondi Beach, and continues along the coastal path to Bronte. You’ll hear stories and discover information about various places of interest along the way. These places include Bondi Beach, The Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, The Bondi Pavilion, The Bondi Baths and Icebergs Club, Mackenzies Point, Tamarama, Bronte Beach, Bronte Surf Life Saving Club and Bronte Park.

How far is the walk, and how long will it take?

The Bondi to Bronte Self Guided Walking Tour is approximately 2.5 kilometers in length. Without stopping, the walk will take about 1 hour. It is recommended that you stroll at your own pace, stop at each point of interest, take a seat and listen to the audio. Take your time, and enjoy the stories and the scenery that surrounds you.

How difficult is the walk?

Depending on your level of fitness, the walk will vary in difficulty. The walk is along an even surface, and the path winds its way above and below cliff tops. It continually rises and falls over hills. There are a number of stairways throughout the walk, some quite steep, with handrails provided.

What public facilities are along the way?

There are public toilets located at the Bondi Pavilion, the southern end of Bondi Beach, Tamarama Beach and Bronte Beach. The location of these toilets will be marked on your map when you purchase this Self Guided Walking Tour. There is occasional seating provided along the way, and parks at Bondi beach, Tamarama beach and Bronte beach all offer picnic shelters, coin-operated barbecues and kiosks.

How do I get to the start of the walk at Bondi Beach?
Bus:	380 (Circular Quay to North Bondi) 381 (Bondi Junction to North Bondi) L82 (Circular Quay to Watsons Bay via Bondi)
Taxi:	Request your driver take you to Bondi Beach, dropping you off opposite the Bondi Pavilion.
Parking:	There is paid parking (metered) in Park Drive, Bondi and paid parking (ticket) in Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi.

How do I get from the end of the walk at Bronte back to the city or Bondi?
Bus:	378 (Bronte Beach to Railway Square via Bondi Junction)
Taxi:	Pick up from Bronte Road to your final destination.
Parking:	Walk back to Bondi beach via the coastal pathway.
